Ans: a) 0

The digits 1 – 9 will occupy the first 9 places. 10, 11, 12, …. 99 will occupy the next (90 × 2) = 180 places. The remaining (1994 – 189) = 1805 places will be occupied by 100, 101, 102, …….etc.
1805/3 leaves a quotient 601 and remainder 2.
Hence positions 1993-1995 will be occupied by 602, i.e. the 1994th place will be occupied by 0. Hence (a).
